In this essential role, you’ll be responsible for transporting Dillon’s grocery freight from our local distribution center to stores throughout the area, ensuring on-time and safe deliveries. What You’ll Do:
- Deliver grocery freight from the Dillons’ distribution center in Hutchinson, KS & Goddard, KS to stores in Kansas, Omaha, and Western Missouri (local and regional deliveries).
- Verify product quantities at stores
- Perform live unloads, potentially averaging 3-4 stops per load (depending on the route).
- Maintain excellent customer service by providing a positive and professional experience at each store.
- Comply with all company safety regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure your assigned equipment is properly maintained.
What You Bring:
- Valid Class A CDL & DOT Med Card
- 12 months verifiable 53′ van/reefer experience within past 36 months
- Refrigerated experience preferred
- Acceptable MVR/PSP/Clearinghouse
- Demonstrated commitment to Safety and Service
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: Average weekly pay of $1500-$1600 and average annual W-2 of $78,000-$83,200.
- Home daily schedule (5 days on / 2 consecutive days off / 6th day available).
